The future of MICER

As early summer is traditionally MICER time we wanted to update about future MICER direction. Following the reconvening of the RSC Chemistry Education Research Group (CERG), I am delighted to say that the Committee have agreed to formally take over the responsibility of MICER, and coordinate future running of the meeting. This is great news as it means the future of the meeting is on a more sustainable footing.

As part of that process, we wish to engage with the community about how they would like to see MICER operate in future. We will be offering opportunities for feedback in the near future.

In the meantime, a lot of MICER resources are available from previous meetings. These are linked below. Furthermore, the RSC CERG YouTube channel contains a variety of recordings from MICER, previous CERGinars etc that will be a valuable resource for those exploring chemistry education research.
