One of the issues that comes up repeatedly about RSC is communication. With such a large and complex organisation, it is hard to get relevant information to the members interested in particular topics. We hope that this website and our bimonthly member emails will help in this regard, but we invite you to join in with us on Twitter.
Twitter is an easy way to follow and communicate with others who share the same interests. Even if you are new to it, it is easy to join and follow, so that you can keep in touch with others interested in chemistry education research. There are lots of people interested in chemistry education on Twitter. A good place to start (after us of course!) is the RSC publications Education in Chemistry and Chemistry Education Research and Practice. See who they follow and who follows them – you will very quickly build up a network of people with similar interests.
If you do sign up, be sure to say hello so that we can introduce you to other members of our group, and help extend your network. Our Twitter account was set up by our Chair, Jane Essex, and Jane and committee member Suzanne Fergus are running the account. Click here to see our Twitter account and follow us there!
